The New Mimi

Since the arrival of Silas, Mary Alice has taken on some new traits, be them good or bad, they are at the very least...NEW! For instance she has decided that anytime Silas is crying she must cry LOUDER! Usually she is not even upset, just wanting to be heard.
Speaking of wanting to be heard, she has started a new tactic to get attention. Whenever she is feeling overlooked she starts soft and gets louder and fast with "ou...ou...OU.OUOUOUOUOU!!" The other night we were all in the car when she pulled this and Ben turned frantically to the backseat. I said, "Hey don't look at her, she is faking!" She then flashed Ben a smile, "Gotcha!"

This morning she was playing her new game of "Little Mama" and as soon as Silas vacated the bouncy seat, HER baby needed a turn!


We all know that Mary Alice LOVES her animals and LOVES to tell you what they say. One of her favorites is the Macaw. Well this morning on the Today show they were showing endangered species and the Macaw just happened to be one of them. She was letting Matt Lauer know just what they say!!
