MI and WI all in one week!

A couple of weeks ago the 3.5 of us set sail on a week long tour of the Midwest. We left on Sunday after church. Of course, we did not leave at the scheduled time of departure (shocking...I know) and therefore we postponed MAK's nap in an attempt to cash in on as much sleeping in the car time as possible. Therefore, when asked, about 30 seconds into the trip, if she was excited to see Oma and Papper, we got this fine look of enthusiasm!


Even with that we still got 2.5 hours of solid sleep out of her...that's our girl!! Then the rest of the trip we cashed in on the portable DVD player. She only gets to watch these movies in the car and she LOVES them. There was no distracting her!! Where there is singing and dancing, MAK is HAPPY!! So this was the rest of the trip...can't complain!


Then at Oma and Papper's we had a good time riding the rocking cow!! I think this is more excitement than anger...but you never can tell!


This is also a new face she has taken to, still trying to figure it out...she likes to maintain her mystery!


Uncle Ben and Starlynne built a cup tower!


Then in true fashion, as soon as it is completed you must DESTROY!! Here is Starlynne being thrown through the masterpiece...


and I would say Mary Alice much preferred it destroyed!!


Then it was back home for one night and then back in the car headed to Grandma and Grandpa Kunz's cabin and swinging on the porch swing!!


We had alot of fun but then the next week, every time we put MAK in the carseat she pitched a fit, thinking we were going for another 4 hour trip!!
