Today Mary Alice and I decided to get into the Halloween spirit and carve ourselves a pumpkin. Her being the stylish and always prepared with a hat for all occasions, she had to change her clothes first and find her pumpkin carving hat.
Then I got out the knife and she was less than impressed!
"That is AWESOME Mom!!"
She may be a lady and she is NOT afraid to get her hands dirty!
Let me tell you two things:
1) I had forgotten how LONG it takes to carve a pumpkin
2) I had forgotten how HARD it is to clean out a pumpkin
It took a lot out of Mimi...clearly...she is so exhausted she doesn't even seem to mind that her belly is hanging out of her shirt!
One nap, one bath, and a mopped floor later...TA DA!!
