I do believe there is a distinct difference between our current parenting styles. Ben is all about the education...
While I am all about the real world experiences... Though I am a firm believer in the education of books, but we all know that books can only take you so far in life! I can say this because I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on this subject, being a high school teacher and all!! I have seen first hand the disadvantages of focusing too much on either approach! It is clear that Mary Alice understands this basic principle of life and wants to be just like her mom!!
