Ben plus Katie = 4!!!: Great Grandparent Tour 2009

We figured since MAK is two months old now it was high time we take her and introduce her to all of her great grandparents!! This required a 5 hour trip to Michigan and various hour long trips to and from great grandparents houses!! Thankfully Mary Alice is a BIG fan of the car and her car seat...she rode like a champ!! However, this little trip was apparently very taxing on our little girl, who really enjoys her ALONE time...of all things to pass on to my daughter, of course this had to be one of them!! Being held for most naps and entertainment proved to be a bit much for her. But, she is recovering well and quickly. For the last two days all she has done is sleep ALONE and smile when she is awake!! Way to bounce back MAK!! Hey that is even after she got her shots yesterday...there was NO crankiness and NO vomiting this time...I also remembered to give her Tylenol!! Tylenol is MAK's new friend!!

While visiting Ben's side the family we attended a wedding, Mary Alice has had better days then she did at the wedding...though this picture is deceiving.

Between the wedding and the reception we stopped at a coffee shop...based on this picture of Uncle Tim giving MAK a taste of his espresso, I think I see why the night went downhill from here on out!!
