July in Idaho

Mary Alice took her first cross-country trip last week!! The week actually started with a short trip south to see friends from college, so that Ben could practice with them for their big gig opening for some southern gospel acts this weekend...all that to say that even with the GPS Ben can still manage to miss his turn...




and in Illinois, this is what that looks like!!




Then it was up to Milwaukee. On the way through Chicago Mary Alice was having a good time playing with her toys!!





The next morning at 6:00am we boarded a plane with a ~4 month old, but lots of praying a bottle later this was the scene...on all FOUR flights it took to get to Idaho and back! She is AMAZING!!





Even amazing on our layovers! She loves to lay and stretch out, kick her feet and beat her belly...whatever makes her happy!!





While we were in Idaho we were able to hang out with Uncle Joe, Aunt Bekah and Alexander!! Also, Grandpa and Grandma flew out with us, so the whole family was together!!




We were able to take the kids to their first zoo experience....





MAK had to dress for the occasion of course!!




And in an unexpected surprise there was a rose garden to end the experience with!
