There are few things that I will risk waking Mary Alice up for, one of those things is the 4th of July bike parade. All the kids in the neighborhood decorate their bikes and ride behind a "pace car" with a live band in the back that plays patriotic music. The band alone and its squeaky always a little behind or a little ahead clarinet are what make it all worth it. Though we must say the band has gotten better over the last year!
So we got out the flag chairs and set them up in front of the house and watched the parade and waved at the kids. Yes, were the only fools that were sitting outside and watching the parade!!! WE LOVE IT and so does Mary Alice!!
Here is our little star spangled baby!!! Still not a pro at sitting up by herself yet!

She's getting so big! It's hard to believe it... wish we could have been sitting on the front lawn with you guys, although Em probably would have tried running after the band!
