We went to the doctor this week for our four week wellness check. We are healthy!! Girlfriend now ways 8 pounds!! Also during the course of 4 weeks she grew 2 inches...could explain some of the recent "crabbiness!" We had a little discussion with the doctor about her eye that had started pussing the night before...turns out it is a blocked tear duct and warm compresses and tear duct massages are the cure...it already looks worlds better! The doctor's visit finale was act two of the hepatitis B shot! She took it like a champ...until about 1:00 AM when she VOMITED for the first time that night ALL OVER EVERYTHING in her bassinet!! IT WAS GROSS!! We had to change EVERYTHING and rinse it out and get her all calmed down again. Then at approximately 2:00 AM she VOMITED for the second time ALL OVER EVERYTHING!! IT WAS GROSS!! We had to change EVERYTHING and rinse it out and get her all calmed down again! Needless to say we had a rough night but she sure did sleep a lot the next day!! Oh, side note to Gayle and the girls, this was the night you babysat and she was being really difficult...that may have been helpful information!
With her extra 2 inches she has started to out grow clothes already! This is probably the last time MAK will wear this outfit, she is getting too LONG for her clothes, not WIDE but LONG...NOT a MATERNAL trait!!
Here is Mary Alice with her friend Elaina who came over to have dinner with us last night! So sweet!

Question about the strawberry outfit: It resembles "Strawberry Shortcake," whose products are usually scratch-and-sniff. If you scratch MAK while she's wearing this outfit, does she smell like strawberries? (Of course I'm kidding, but wouldn't that be AWESOME?!)
I tried it but...no dice!! But she does smell like BABY, which is even better!!
She actually prefers to soil the outfits with fruit on them (cherries, strawberries, etc.) so yes... scratch & sniff away... but you might not like it.
