Tonight I was reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to Mary Alice when out of nowhere she just STOOD UP! She didn't even wobble, not even a little bit! She might as well have put her hands on her hips and said, "What, I do this all the time!" So I yelled for Ben, who came running down the stairs, and then...nothing...she wouldn't do it. That was when we realized the connection to the book and the standing. She only stands when I am reading the book?? It makes no sense, and the video is kind of hard to see, but here was our big accomplishment and we are SO EXCITED about!!
